Many of my mural projects were acquired initially through a juried selection process, that is, a contest basis involving any number of contributing artists. Public Art at civic levels requires a tendering procedure but I was often contacted for private commissions like the St. Stephen's church above, celebrating the building's 100 years in the spring of 2012.
Most of my public murals were historical in nature such as the BC Dragoons centennial in 2011 or the Fur Brigade Trail also 2011. Sometimes they reflected local interests like "Confluence" above depicting a stylized represent-ation of the Quesnel and Fraser rivers for the city of Quesnel's Rec Centre, painted while the pool was closed for two week's maintenance.
